Referral Rewards

01 How it works

If someone clicked your link on their phone but signed up on a laptop, the connection can be lost. That's why the sign-up form has an optional Referral Code box — they can type your code in and it works exactly the same.

02 What you earn

• Student plan ($79/year) — you earn $10
• Yearly plan ($180/year) — you earn $20
• Monthly plan ($17/month) — no reward. Only the two annual plans pay out.

Each person you refer can earn you one reward, once — on their first qualifying purchase. If they later renew, upgrade or switch plans, no further reward is created. There is no cap on how many different people you can refer.

03 When a reward becomes available

Every reward passes through a 14-day holding period before you can withdraw it. This exists because customers can ask for a refund within 14 days, and we would rather hold a reward briefly than pay one out on a sale that gets reversed.

• Pending — earned, but still inside the 14 days. Your wallet shows how many days are left.
• Available — the 14 days have passed and the sale stood. This is the balance you can withdraw.
• Paid — the money has been sent to you.
• Cancelled — the purchase was refunded or charged back. See section 06.

04 Withdrawing your money

Once your Available balance reaches $50, the Withdraw button in Refer & Earn becomes active. Press it, choose how you'd like to be paid, and we'll do the rest.

You receive the full amount shown in your wallet. If it says $50, you get $50 — TypeFromPDF covers the transfer fee. We never deduct it from your earnings.

05 How the money reaches you

Payouts are currently sent through Wise only, in US dollars. When you request a withdrawal you can choose either:

• A Wise payment link or Wisetag — the simplest option. You share a link, we pay it, and you never give us your bank details. A Wise account is free to open.
• A US bank transfer — give us the name on the account, your address, account number and ACH routing number (not the wire number, they're often different).

We ask for your payout details only when you request a withdrawal — never at sign-up — and bank details are removed from our records once the payment has been sent.

06 Refunds and cancelled rewards

A reward exists because someone paid. If that payment is reversed, the reward goes with it:

• If the reward was still pending or available, it is cancelled and removed from your balance. Nothing is owed by you.
• If we had already paid it out, we will never ask you to send money back. Instead the amount is recorded as an adjustment and comes out of your next earnings.

Any cancellation or adjustment is shown in your reward history with the reason. Your balance will never change without you being able to see why.

07 The rules

• No referring yourself. Creating a second account, or using your own code with your own email address, does not earn anything.
• The link must reach a real person. Fake sign-ups, bought traffic, bots, and accounts created only to trigger a reward are not eligible.
• Attribution is set once. An account is linked to a referrer when it is created, and cannot be changed or added afterwards.
• Accounts with unusual referral activity may be reviewed before a payout is sent. We may ask you how you shared your link.
• Don't spam. Posting your link where it isn't welcome, or implying you work for TypeFromPDF, will end your participation.

We may cancel rewards obtained through fraud or abuse, and may change or end this programme at any time. If we do change it, rewards you have already earned will still be honoured.

08 Tax

Referral rewards are income. Depending on where you live, you may need to declare them. We don't withhold tax and we can't give tax advice — if you're unsure, speak to someone qualified in your country.
